Join us at Kelly-Strayhorn Theater for the premiere performances of Fode “Lavia” Camara’s Kadiatou Kha Tarikhui: The Legend of Kadiatou. This work portrays the inspiring life story of Balafon’s visionary founder “Mama” Kadiatou Conte in stunningly vibrant color and movement. Performed by Balafon’s unique, intergenerational ensemble of dancers and musicians, this powerful tribute will uplift and inspire you.
